Gorbel mass produces our Automated Crane Components instead of manufacturing them on a per order basis. This saves you engineering time, so you can get your automated crane components faster, making your integration quick and easy. Ideal for handling large, heavy loads that require slower speeds. Gorbel® components afford system integrators peace of mind. With our components, systems can repeat movements up to +/-1/4" to 3/8", depending on the application.



  Automotive Components

Redundant End Stops (Automotive Components)


Redundant end stops which are required by many automotive companies and suppliers. At each end stop location we provide a standard end stop, an additional through bolt with hardware, and safety wire for securing both end stop bolts—meeting the strictest automotive safety standards.



  Automotive Components

Safety Cable (Automotive Components)


We provide all the material needed for the installation of safety cable. Safety cable is installed through the hangers and over the supporting building or crane structure as a redundant safety system. Gorbel trolleys are designed to accept this cable through both trolley and hoist, meeting all the industry's safety standards.



  Cantilevered Supports

Cantilevered Supports


Cantilevered Supports allow materials to be delivered and removed without obstruction. Available for Free Standing Work Station Cranes. Used when product is being moved in and out from swinging doors/overhead doors or in very tight areas with headroom restrictions.



  Conductor Bar

Cleveland Tramrail Safpowrbar conductor bars offer many advantages in increased safety, longer life, and trouble free service.

Many states require enclosed electrification for overhead traveling equipment. Safpowrbar conductor systems provide safer electrification through double insulation and careful design standards. Safpowrbar electrification reduces maintenance and provides assurance against power interruptions



  Interlock/Transfer

Interlock/Transfer


Our Interlock/Transfer Cranes allow loads to be transferred from a bridge crane to monorail spurs—and vice versa—quickly and easily. The bridge only engages the interlock when the operator actuates it, so workers are not impeded when the interlock is not in use.

The interlock is designed so the trolley stops will lock and not allow the passage of the hoist trolley until the bridge and monorail are in alignment and mechanically linked. The bridge and monorail spur cannot be separated until the trolley stops are fully closed and in the locked position.

Interlocks can be easily adapted to an existing Gorbel® Work Station Bridge Crane.



  Maintenance Gates

Maintenance Gates


Many plants have crane systems with very long runways and multiple bridges. Servicing these bridges can be a very complex process—with Maintenance Gates, this process shortens to three steps:

1.Unbolt and remove the lock bar (a) that keeps the splice joints (b) from moving into a release position.
2.Unbolt the two splice joints (b) and slide them towards each other onto the drop down section (c)
3.Remove the drop down section (c). Bridges on either side of the opening created can then be removed through the opening.



  Nested Trolley

Nested Trolley


Ideal for low headroom applications, our Nested Trolleys increase the available lift by raising the height of the hoist.

A nested trolley is constructed of a dual girder bridge with a box shaped assembly (a "nest") that travels between the bridge girders. With this nest, the hoist is mounted up inside the bridge structure, which allows you to reclaim the lift typically taken up by the body of the hoist.

Our Offset Load Platform is designed to support almost any rigid or base plate mounted lifting devices and manipulators. One platform can be used in multiple work cells or be moved anywhere within the crane coverage area. Our new design reduces skewing and binding of the carriers for smoother, even more consistent movement of your manipulators and tooling.



  Portable Bases

Portable Bases


Our Portable bases allow jibs to be picked up with a fork truck and moved anywhere in a facility. For use on Work Station Jib Cranes and Pivot Pro Articulating Jib Cranes.

• Capacities up to 1000 lbs. and spans up to 16 ft. for Work Station Jibs
• Capacities from 50 to 150 lbs. and spans to 12 ft. for Pivot Pro



  Telescoping Bridges

Telescoping Bridges


Our Telescoping Bridge allows for extension outside the normal reach of a Gorbel® Work Station Bridge Crane. The telescoping bridge is designed for effortless movement and easy installation, featuring an adjustable leveling device and anti-kickup wheels to prevent binding of the bridge when telescoped.

Applications for a telescoping bridge include reaching into adjacent work cells to transfer material, loading parts into a machine opening, and reaching out beyond a building column or under mezzanines.



  Tool Jib Trolley

Our Tool Solutions Trolley and saddle were designed for applications that require festooning of cables and hoses. The smooth gliding trolley combined with the arched saddle creates a very clean, efficient way to manage your application's cables and wires. Maximum capacity of 75 lbs. Use the Tool Solutions Trolley for General assembly, Welding, Fabrication, and Tooling.



  Tool Trolley

Tool Trolley


Our Tool Trolleys are perfect for those in-between loads. They can handle up to 125 pounds—far more than plastic trolleys—while still being less expensive than a hoist trolley. These trolleys are designed for applications that require trolleys to resist kick-up and side-loading and are capable of supporting tools or heavy festooning combinations. Use the Tool Trolley for suspending tools and spring balancers on an assembly line, and welding guns.



  Tractor Drives

Tractor Drives


Our Tractor Drives provide motorized movement on new or existing enclosed track Gorbel® Work Station Bridge Cranes and Monorails. The drives are designed for indoor use and are available for steel track or aluminum track.

Applications for tractor drives include work areas where the operator cannot stand next to the load to move it by hand, or operations with high cycle times that require frequent lifting of heavy, awkward loads.



  G-Force Pendant Handle

G-Force Pendant Handle


This handle is a two-button infinitely variable control handle for use with our G-Force® and the Easy Arm™. It is a no-charge optional alternative to our standard G-Force® slide handle.

The buttons of the G-Force® Pendant Control require less than one pound of force to depress, making it up to 70% easier than traditional pendants. This reduces the potential for fatigue and repetitive stress injuries of the hand and wrist.



  Soft Touch Pneumatic Handle

Soft Touch Pneumatic Handle


The Soft Touch Pneumatic Handle is used to control any air-powered device, like an air balancer. It has a standard mounting surface so it can replace most existing manufacturers' handles on the market today.

These handles share a common handle base with our Pendant Handle option, which allows the control block of the G-Force® control handle to be easily integrated with the single pilot valve blocks of the Pneumatic handle product. This handle combination can be used to control end effector functions and the up/down motion of the G-Force® on a single handle.
